The Pakistan Day Parade in NJ was one of Sam’s ways of ensuring the community celebrated our culture not just amongst ourselves but with everyone regardless of their background.
Sam Khan is a prominent community leader and the owner of A&M Contracting, based in Edison, New Jersey. With over two decades of experience in the construction industry, Sam has established A&M Contracting as a trusted name in building quality and value throughout the tri-state area.
In addition to his professional achievements, Sam is a dedicated community activist. He founded the South Asian Community Outreach (SACO), an organization aimed at fostering unity and understanding among diverse communities. SACO organizes various cultural and community events, including the annual Pakistan Day Parade in New Jersey, which draws thousands of participants each year.
Sam is also involved with the American Muslim Council, where he advocates for the rights and integration of Muslim Americans. His efforts extend to supporting political candidates who align with the community's values and working on initiatives that promote social cohesion and cultural celebration.

Dr. Mohammad Zubair, MD, is a distinguished pulmonologist with over 38 years of experience in the medical field. He specializes in pulmonary disease and critical care, providing expert care for a range of respiratory conditions, including asthma, pneumonia, sleep disorders, and lung cancer. Dr. Zubair completed his medical education at Ross University and his residency at the New Jersey Medical School and Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
He is affiliated with several top hospitals, including JFK University Medical Center in Edison, NJ, where he is known for his compassionate patient care and dedication to improving respiratory health. Dr. Zubair has also been a critical figure in advancing pulmonary care, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and a multidisciplinary approach to treatment.

May he rest in peace. Mian Aziz is the esteemed owner of Shezan Restaurant & Banquet Hall, located on Oak Tree Road in Edison, New Jersey. Established in 1993, Shezan has become a cornerstone for authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine in the area, offering a wide range of traditional dishes that have delighted patrons for decades. The restaurant is well-known for its delicious goat dishes, diverse buffet, and welcoming atmosphere reflecting South Asia's rich cultural heritage.
Mian Aziz's vision for Shezan was to create a space that served high-quality, flavorful food and acted as a hub for community gatherings and celebrations. In 2003, the restaurant expanded to include a banquet hall that accommodates over 200 guests, making it one of the largest and most sought-after venues for weddings, parties, and cultural events on Oak Tree Road.
Beyond his contributions to the culinary world, Mian Aziz has been a significant figure in the local community.
